Volunteers make all the difference

CLARENCE City Council ‘s Community Volunteer Service is seeking volunteers who wish to make a difference to the lives of others in their community.

Clarence City Council provides help and companionship to those with assisted living requirements – due to ageing or disability – through a range of services including transport assistance, shopping assistance, befriending and company, telephone support, dog walking, and light gardening.

The volunteer service takes volunteers from all areas, ages, experience levels and abilities.

Even volunteers with limited time availability can make a difference in their community by committing just a few hours a month.

Clarence City Council carefully finds the perfect match for each volunteer based on personality, the activity/s they wish to support, as well as their abilities.

If you think that you might be able to make a positive impact on others in your community, please contact Clarence City Council community volunteer service coordinator Rhianna Airey on  6217 9623 or by emailing rairey@ccc.tas.gov.au.
