Gentle Exercise Sessions for Seniors
A new slower-paced session for the elderly and seniors starting on a fitness program is being introduced on each Tuesday from noon until 1pm at the Lauderdale Hall. Other gentle exercise sessions for seniors continue at the Lauderdale Community Hall. Sessions run each Tuesday 11am - noon and each Friday 10-11am. Sessions are conducted by a qualified fitness therapist specialising in fitness for the older adult Sessions are conducted in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Gentle Squash
Supervised gentle fun exercise for the over-50s, held each Friday from 1.30pm to 3pm at Eastside Squash and Fitness Centre, 69 Cambridge Rd, Bellerive. All equipment is provided. Hobart Model Aero Club
Radio control planes at ‘Kelly Field’ on the Richmond/Campania Road, on the right-hand side, 2 km from Richmond. Most flying takes place during Saturday and Sunday mornings (weather permitting) between 9am and 1pm, but many members also fly during the week.  Visitors are always welcome.
Qualified instructors can assist those who bring their own models and we also offer two free flights to interested people (over the age of 12 years) on the club's trainer model aircraft using a buddy-box system.
