THIS year, why not share the joy and spirit of Christmas with people who are doing it tough?
For many of us, Christmas is an exciting and special time to celebrate with friends and family, but for some it can be a particularly tough and lonely time of year.
Clarence City Council is partnering with the Clarence Salvation Army and community services to give the gift of a special Christmas brunch to people in the community who might otherwise be lonely or having a hard time.
Set to be the second Christmas Brunch in Clarence, the Council is calling on help from the community to make it an even bigger success.
Volunteers are currently being sought to donate their time and talents to creating a Christmas celebration that will bring people together and create positive memories.
Volunteers can include chefs, musicians and entertainers, as well as business owners willing to donate food and drinks or anyone wishing to help out in some way.
For more information or if you’re interested in contributing to the event, please contact Michelle at the Clarence Salvos on 6224 4615 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
