GETTING active this summer is as easy as getting to one of three park featured in this year’s Fitness in the Park program.
Building on the success of last year’s trial Fitness in the Park project, this year’s program will provide a range of free fitness activities for the community in some of the Council’s most popular and accessible parks.
The free program includes a variety of sessions including cross training, stretching and strengthening, fitness for mums and bubs and tai chi.
Locations for the sessions are Bellerive Beach Park, Kangaroo Bay, and the Council lawns at the heart of the Clarence CBD.
There’s something for everyone in this year’s program, with a range of times, locations and times to choose from.
Give fitness a go and improve your health in a friendly, community space – with no pressure involved. No bookings are needed but numbers are limited for the safety of participants.
To ensure you don’t miss out, go to http://www.ccc.tas.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=1606 for session times and locations on the eastern shore.
