CHANDO Steiner’s Bellerive Osteopathy and Natural Health is growing from strength to strength ‑ literally!
The Eastern Shore’s only osteopathy clinic has not only grown its client base with clients of all ages from both eastern and western shores, the team at Bellerive Osteopathy has also grown.

Matthew Blackburn recently joined as a qualified osteopath to join Chando Steiner and Trish Peterson.
Chando said the strength of the clinic was in the care and advice it provided its client base.
“Our approach is to talk at length with our clients and determine what are the underlying issues. We then use gentle osteopathic techniques to treat the causes,” Chando said.
“Our treatment focuses on the inter-relationships of the whole body and how pain can affect all parts of the body. We spend considerable time determining what are the issues before advising on treatment.”
Both Chando and Matt agree that this time of the years poses particular challenges for people particularly as they get older and as they experience arthritic and other joint pain related to cooler temperatures.
“When joints don’t function as well and muscles tighten up in these conditions, we can do a lot to help ease and manage the pain in terms of manual therapy and exercise,” Matt said.
Bellerive Osteopathy offers a range of manual therapy techniques including massage therapy, joint mobilisation, stretching and specific exercise advice.
“Our approach is that we work together to help in that management process,” Matt said.
The team is well qualified with Chando practising for 16 years after graduating in the UK, Trisha qualifying three years ago, and Matt graduating after five years’ full-time study, last year.
The practice is a nationally registered osteopathy clinic with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
From next month, Eastern Shore Sun will be publishing regular advisory articles on osteopathy from Chando and the team. For further information contact Bellerive Osteopathy and Natural Health on 6244 6123.
